About us
The O'ahu Resource Conservation and Development Council (O'ahu RC&D) is an independent non-profit entity that works closely with the USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and was officially authorized by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture in January 2001. We focus on improving quality of life and promotion of sustainable communities through the management and conservation of our precious natural resources and the careful development of rural neighborhoods and businesses. The O'ahu RC&D serves the island of O'ahu. There are also RC&D's located on Maui, Kaua'i, and Hawai'i island.
